Often Overlooked Items To Pack for a Trip Abroad

What’s on your packing list for traveling abroad?

I’m setting off for Europe with two carry-on’s: a backpack and a purse – and a packing list that I hope is as short as I need it to be. Now, this may not seem all that impressive-  but if you consider our plans for our one week, you would wonder how we will fit it all in so little space. Well that is to come. But first, I want to show you five things that can be easily forgotten!

Granted, you’re not going to need everything on this list. And depending on where you’re going, you might not need anything! My point is, these are things that we almost forgot – and maybe you will find them equally valuable! I believe each one is well worth the price and the space in your bag. All of these items will be on my packing list for several trips to come.

The Best Flight Search Engines

at

Travel Tuesday is a little bit early this week due to Valentine’s Day, but it’s oh-so-good.

It’s no secret that I’m a travel junkie. It’s something I have trouble shutting up about, and I thank the people in my life close to me that listen to my incessant rambling. You may thank me too, by the end of this post. I’m assuming you’ve already heard of the most well-known search engines; Kayak, Cheapoair, Travelocity, etc. I’m not even going to be touching on these giants because I assume you’ve tried and tested them. If not, go check them out and let me know what you think in the comments below!

However, this post is for those of you that really want to make sure you’re finding the best flights for the best deals. This post is for you if you are willing to do several searches before purchasing. It takes a little bit of legwork, but if you’re going to save hundreds of dollars, why wouldn’t you?

How to Get the Cheapest Flights to Europe!

at

pet survey (1)

When I see a really great deal, I have a habit of obsessing over it a little bit, especially if it’s travel-related. My boyfriend and I are going to Switzerland and Vienna in May for $1,000 each! I obsess about it (and all the other places I want to go) everday. Today, I almost bought flights to Norway for later in the year because I found what I believe is an amazing deal. A little rooting around has shown me a major hack that I think very few people have realized.

1 Week in Europe for $1,000

at

Let me tell you – few things get my heart pumping like travelling. I somehow have been to very few places in my life, but it has been my biggest dream for years to see the world. Now that I am finally in control of my finances, I can start travelling the way I’ve always wanted to. Switzerland is the land of cheese, chocolate and premiere hiking – it is everything I could ever want in a destination.

This explains why I couldn’t pass up cheap tickets to Zurich, Switzerland! Round-trip, nonstop flights from Boston to Zurich for only $450 each?! I must be dreaming.
